Maestro & facilitator
Damian Pacaya Rodríguez is a man whose life has been guided by a deep calling toward healing and the knowledge of medicinal plants. At 50 years old, his story reflects an organic, genuine path full of learning, marked by a connection with nature and medicinal plants.
His journey on the shamanic path began at 22 years old, in a family environment where ceremonies were a living part of the tradition. From a young age, he observed with curiosity his relatives gathered in ceremonies, singing icaros and working with the medicine. That initial curiosity transformed into an inner impulse that led him to take the step and participate with his family. It was at that moment when something within him awakened: a deep connection that not only attracted him, but also marked the beginning of his purpose.
His uncle, who was already walking the spiritual and shamanic path, was the one who initiated him and guided him in his first steps. More than a teacher, he was a bridge between the visible and the invisible world, helping him understand the worlds of the medicine.
After his first experiences with the medicine, Damian began to go deeper and deeper into the knowledge of plants. His uncle, recognizing his interest and sensitivity, began to connect him with different medicinal plants. Over time, his uncle introduced him more deeply into the work with the medicine, thus consolidating his path in shamanism.
Over the years, Damian has carried out more than 50 diets with medicinal plants, among them bobinsana, marusa, pino colorado, palo voladora, chullachaqui, chirisanango, among many others. Each diet has been a teacher, teaching him not only about healing, but about patience, humility, and inner listening.
Today, his greatest desire is to serve. Damian works with the intention of helping people free themselves from negative energies, accompanying them in processes of cleansing, balance, and reconnection. His approach does not come from ego, but from lived experience and from a deep respect for the medicinal plants that formed him.
His story is not that of someone who sought power, but of someone who responded to a calling. And in that response, he found his purpose: to be a channel of healing, a guardian of the knowledge of nature, and a guide for those who seek to return to their essence.
